One lot consisting of scrap aluminum casings (3 boxes), once fired, total estimated weight of casings with boxes and pallets, 6, 698 pounds; total estimated brass weight 6, 465 pounds. This sale for ammunition component (expended “scrap” ammunition) will be sold only to companies licensed to perform manufacturing/remanufacturing processes under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. 923, or other Federal law or regulation, or to companies allowed to purchase ammunition components under local and state laws. Bidders will be required to provide the appropriate license, if required, and also sign a statement of certification prior to finalizing the award contract.
