  The Department of the Interior, Office of Aviation Services, is selling to the highest bidder a set of wings from a 1957 PA-18 Super Cub. &n bsp;Warning:  these wings require repairs.  The wings were removed from an aircraft that was submerged in fresh water.  Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect this equipment prior to biddi ng.  This equipment can be viewed at the Office of Aviation Services at 4405 Lear Court, Anchorage, AK, 99502 weekdays during business hours.  Please contact Daryl Carson at 907-271-5158 to arrange for an inspection.  Notes: (1) This equipment will be sold as-is/where-is.  Pictures are attached; however, you are strongly encouraged to view this equipment in person to verify what items are included with the sale and its condition.  (2) Warning to purchaser/recipient: The equipment you are purchasing, or receiving in an exchange, may not be in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.  You are solely responsible for bringing the equipment into compliance with 14 CFR, or other applicable standards. No FAA documentation, including logbooks, STC paperwork or installation drawings will be supplied with this item.  No representation of the airworthiness of this item is made. (3) See the attached DOI special sale terms and conditions for this auction that replace some of the standard GSA sale terms and conditions.   The Department of the Interior, Office of Aviation Services, is selling to the highest bidder an overhauled 1998 Lycoming O-320 B2B aircraft engine.  The engine was overhauled in 2009.  The total time on the engine since new is 1,984.2 hours.  The engine has zero time after being overhauled.
